Establishedin1985,theSecondAffiliatedHospitalofInnerMongoliaMedicalUniversityistheonlyGradeIIIGradeAorthopaedicspecialtyhospitalintheautonomousregion.
Itisanorthopaedicmaster'strainingbasewiththerighttoawardmaster'sdegreesdesignatedbytheStateCouncil,whichintegratestheOrthopaedicResearchInstituteoftheAutonomousRegion,theOrthopaedicQualityControlCenteroftheAutonomousRegion,theNationalOrthopaedicDiseasePreventionandControlBase,andtheBethuneMedicalDevelopmentAssociationTechnicalCooperationHospitalinCanada.
Thehospitalhas1,000openbeds,andthetotalnumberofpatientsdischargedannuallyisabout26,000.Theannualnumberofoperationsexceeds22,000,andthenumberofoutpatientandemergencyvisitsexceeds200,000.
In2010,thehospitalorthopedicsdepartmentwasratedasthefirstbatchofnationalkeyclinicalspecialties.In2002,2009and2017,hewontheleadingdisciplineinInnerMongoliaAutonomousRegion.
In2017,hewasratedastheleadingdisciplineinInnerMongoliaAutonomousRegionforhandandfootmicrosurgery.In2022,spinalsurgeryandemergencytraumasurgerywereratedasclinicaladvantagesandkeyspecialtiesofhigh-qualityconstructionprojectsinpublichospitalsinInnerMongoliaAutonomousRegion.
In2023,spinalsurgerywasratedasanationalkeyclinicalspecialtycapacitybuildingproject,anditisoneoftheeightrelatedclinicalspecialtiesthattheautonomousregionhasgivenprioritytosupportingtheconstruction.
Thenationalconstructionfundof5millionyuanwasapproved.In2023,Beijing-MongoliaCollaborativeGovernmentAssistanceForce"MedicalMultiplicationPlan"BeijingJishuitanHospitalsignedacollaborationagreementwithourhospitalontheconstructionofkeyspecialty"TraumaEmergencySurgery".
Thehospitalcurrentlyhas1,150activeemployees,including908healthprofessionalandtechnicalpersonnel,119seniorprofessionaltitlesand136associateseniorprofessionaltitles;64doctorsand247masters.
