Emergency Department

The Chinese Medical Academy of Sciences has a good medical staff, with 17 doctors, 2 physicians-directors, 4 deputy physicians-directors, 5 primary care physicians, 6 hospital doctors, 25 nurses. In recent years, the emergency department has been growing steadily, with 24-hour emergency departments in internal medicine, osteopathy, peripheral medicine, chest, cerebrovascular medicine, gynecology, a multidisciplinary medical and rescue system, strong first modern clinical emergency clinics, research and teaching facilities. In 2005, the hospital's leadership placed great emphasis on the development of the emergency department, which was renovated to include a newly constructed emergency room with 2,800 square meters of space, elegant surroundings, complete facilities and a reasonable layout. One floor is for emergency rooms and clinics, two floors are for infusion rooms, retention rooms, emergency critical care units (EICU), three floors are for blood cells, four floors are for ICU rooms.
