Joint Department

The Department of Orthopaedics at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences is a key department in specialised pathology research, currently open 44 beds, with 26 medical staff including 7 senior doctors, 2 middle-level physicians, 3 primary care physicians, 1 postdoctoral fellow. There are 4 graduate students and 4 postdoctoral fellowships, which have trained over 50 graduate students. The department mainly focuses on clinical, scientific and teaching work on various types of joint diseases, motion injury, bone fractures and osteomyelitis, working on the treatment of knee arthritis, joint fractures, joint staircase therapy, completing 1,000 types of bone surgery per year, including artificial knee surgery, single knee replacement, knee replacement, joint replacement, joint transplantation, joint transplantation, joint transplantation, and many other serious surgeries such as knee or hip replacement, and the surgery of the joints, joint replacement of the joints, joint and shoulder joint, and the removal of all forms of cancer.
