Medical Department

The Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences has three departments: the Department of Medical Sports: joint chairman Zhang founded in 2005 as a leader in the field, and the Department of Arthritis and Sports Medicine), developed to date, now it has 30 beds, nearly a million annual clinical trials, over 450 annual surgeries. There are 21 medical staff. In 2006, it was the first in the country to perform knee-cartilage half-monthly transplant surgery under the same procedure. Between 2008 and 2016, the first group of doctors visited South Korea's Satsar Hospital, Seoul National University Hospital, the University of Uzbekistan Medical Center, Kerlan-Job, Hong Kong Mary's Joint Hospital, and other medical centers for exchange of learning.
