Geriatrics Department

The Chinese Medical Academy looks at the Beijing Hospital's collection of elderly patients, which integrates medical, teaching, and research into a clinical business orientation focused on elderly internal diseases.The department has several well-known Chinese doctors, Chinese medicine and Western medicine combined experts both domestically and internationally. Faculty leader Zhang Maxiang, MD, professor Zhang Xiaowen, academic heir, renowned Chinese medicine, and combined Chinese-Western medicine experts.There are currently five senior professors in all disciplines; two middle professors, including three PhDs; one master's degree. The study has established a systematically effective model of combination therapy for diseases related to old age and advanced life, particularly in the areas of cardiovascular disease, respiratory system disorders, digestive system diseases and aging disorders with a higher curative capacity. Koriori is currently involved in a number of research projects, including national priority R&D projects, national nature projects, provincial projects, has published more than 300 papers, won eight provincial science achievement awards, edited more than 10 medical specialties, and has over 10 PhD students.
