The Neurointerventional Center of Beijing Tiantan Hospital is currently the largest neurointerventional center in China. The department was established in 1996. It is the earliest interventional ward established in China that specializes in the treatment of cerebral and spinal vascular diseases. The main diseases treated by the department include: intracranial and extracranial artery stenosis, intracranial aneurysm, cerebral arteriovenous malformation, dural arteriovenous fistula, acute cerebral arterial occlusion, venous sinus thrombosis, spinal cord vascular malformation and other brain and spinal cord vascular diseases.
