Department of Critical Care Medicine Department of Critical Care Medicine, Fourth Medical Center The Department of Critical Care Medicine of the Fourth Medical Center was established in 1984 and is one of the first independently managed comprehensive ICUs in the country. It currently has more than 60 professional and technical personnel and more than 50 full-range monitoring and treatment equipment. It can treat acute and dangerous patients from various internal and external departments. It is particularly experienced in severe polytrauma, compound injuries, complex surgical infections, severe sepsis treatment and perioperative crisis management. It admits 600-700 patients every year, and the cure and transfer rate reaches 92%.
