Vascular Department

Our discipline focuses on the research and development of aortic endoluminal devices, the study of aortic disease mechanisms and the study of war-related vascular injuries. The research and development platform has three functional areas: "endovascular device localization laboratory", "vascular trauma treatment laboratory" and "vascular mechanics laboratory and specimen library". In recent years, our discipline has undertaken the establishment of large-scale clinical scientific research projects in the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Health, and has obtained more than 30 fund projects at all levels, including national-level projects, with a total research funding of more than 8 million. Since 2008, our discipline has cooperated with national high-tech research and development (863) program industrialization bases such as Shenzhen Xianjian, Weigao Group, Syrida Medical Technology Company, and Minimally Invasive Medical, and has successfully transformed independently developed drug-loaded balloons, iliac artery branch systems, aortic stent-type blood vessels, "modular stent-type blood vessels" and "embedded stent-type blood vessels", and some products have entered the clinical trial stage.In the past five years, our discipline has published more than 280 papers as the first author or corresponding author, including 80 SCI papers, with a total impact factor of more than 300 points, and the highest impact factor of a single article is 19.8 points. We have edited 2 monographs, translated 2 monographs including Rutherford Vascular Surgery (7th Edition), which is known as the "Bible" of international vascular surgery, participated in the editing of 9 monographs, and obtained nearly 20 national invention patents and new patents.
