Endocrinology Department

Department of Endocrinology The Department of Endocrinology of the First Medical Center was established in 1984. It currently has 2 specialist wards, an endocrinology laboratory, an endocrinology specialist outpatient clinic and a diabetes education center. There are currently 4 doctoral supervisors and 3 master supervisors. The department has 14 staff with senior professional and technical titles, 9 staff with intermediate professional and technical titles, and 1 staff with junior professional and technical titles. In 1997, it was approved as the Army’s Key Laboratory of Endocrinology and Metabolism Diseases and the National New Drug Clinical Research Center. The Endocrine and Metabolic Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital was established in 2006 and became a key discipline in Beijing in 2008. Won a total of 3 second-class military science and technology progress awards and 4 provincial and ministerial level science and technology progress awards.
