It is one of the largest thoracic medical units in China with the most comprehensive set of subspecialties and integrated internal and external intervention. The school's clinical resources are extremely rich, its medical level is among the highest in the country, and it has strong scientific research, teaching and strength. It has become a high-level thoracic disease health support base for the entire military and even the country, integrating professional health care, diagnosis and treatment of chest diseases, prevention and control of respiratory infectious diseases, teaching and research, and intelligent services.
