Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was officially launched on June 30, 2020, covering 3 subspecialties of gynecology, obstetrics, and reproductive medicine, 6 resident departments, and currently 80 higher vocational experts. The Department of Gynecology is a domestic leader in the application of robotic, laparoscopic, and transvaginal minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of benign and malignant gynecological tumors, individualized treatment of gynecological malignant tumors, prevention and treatment of complications of gynecological malignant tumors, clinical and basic research on endometriosis, and pelvic floor dysfunction. He has won 2 second-class national scientific and technological progress awards and multiple military and provincial and ministerial-level medical achievement and scientific and technological progress awards. The obstetrics department has unique advantages in intrauterine transfer, premature delivery, perinatal care, high-risk pregnancy management, and treatment of critically ill pregnant women. Critically ill pregnant women treated include: severe preeclampsia, severe placenta accreta, gestational diabetes with fundus changes, gestational diabetes treated with large amounts of insulin, Sjogren's syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome, etc. He has won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 6 third prizes for military medical achievements, 1 second prize for military scientific and technological progress, 1 second prize for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, and 5 third prizes for military scientific and technological progress. The department has won the second-class collective merit at the military region level once.The Department of Reproductive Medicine currently carries out artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET), intra-oocyte sperm injection (ICSI), pre-implantation embryo diagnosis technology (PGT-M, PGT-SR, PGT-A), etc. It is a doctoral degree-granting site of the National Education Commission and a postdoctoral mobile station in obstetrics and gynecology.
