General Surgery Department

The Department of General Surgery of the First Medical Center was officially established in June 2020. It consists of five subspecialties: abdominal trauma surgery, gastric surgery, colorectal surgery, thyroid (hernia) surgery, and breast surgery. The Department of Medicine currently has 68 higher vocational experts. It was the first in the world to propose clinical classification of gastric cancer liver metastasis, reaching the world's first-class level. In recent years, it has won 1 second-class national science and technology progress award, 4 first-class awards at the military and provincial and ministerial levels, and 8 second-class awards at the provincial and ministerial levels.
