The Orthopedic Surgery Department has specialty groups in joints, trauma, spine, sports medicine, bone tumors, and hand-and-foot microsurgery. It performs unicompartmental replacement for knee osteoarthritis, total knee replacement and high tibial osteotomy; total hip replacement for femoral-head necrosis and hip osteoarthritis; revision after total knee and hip replacement; surgery for brucellar spondylitis; and surgical treatment of various complex fractures together with manual reduction and conservative treatment of simple fractures.
