Department overview

The General Surgery Department performs surgical treatment of gastrointestinal diseases such as gastric and colorectal cancer; hepatobiliary-pancreatic-splenic diseases such as liver cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, gallbladder cancer and pancreatic cancer; and thyroid and breast surgery. It also performs open and laparoscopic minimally invasive repair of various abdominal-wall hernias and emergency treatment of various acute abdominal conditions.
