Center for Treating and Preventing Diseases at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine: At the National Working Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine on January 11, 2007, the then Vice Premier Wu Yi proposed from the strategic perspective of history and the development of the times that “it is necessary to strengthen the work of ‘preventing diseases’ with traditional Chinese medicine.” In December 2012, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued the "Guidelines for the Construction and Management of "Treatment and Prevention" Departments in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitals, requiring the establishment of departments for the prevention and treatment of diseases in second-level and above traditional Chinese medicine hospitals across the country. The "Treatment and Prevention Center" of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine was established in August 2013. It has a health management center and provides health examinations, health education, TCM constitution identification, TCM treatment, follow-up management and other services to the population.
