The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Tianjin First Central Hospital was established in September 2010. It was formerly the Department of Physiotherapy. It has a rehabilitation medicine clinic, an inpatient rehabilitation treatment room and a rehabilitation brace production room. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine serves patients with musculoskeletal system diseases, postoperative fractures, and stroke sequelae. Work closely with various clinical departments, such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, burns and plastic surgery, ICU, etc., to carry out rehabilitation treatment in the acute phase of injury of various diseases (long-term dysfunction may occur) and early clinical stage, and have achieved remarkable results. Early rehabilitation intervention in many diseases is conducive to prevention and reduction of disability. The Department of Rehabilitation Treatment not only has outpatient clinics and inpatient rehabilitation treatment rooms, providing modern rehabilitation medical services, but also has established an advanced rehabilitation treatment department with OT, PT treatment rooms and cryogenic plate and brace treatment rooms. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine currently has nearly 20 pieces of equipment.At present, a variety of rehabilitation equipment can be used, such as TY-PEMF-A pulsed magnetic field therapy device, YS4004 computer bone trauma therapy device, L-6130ES intelligent wax therapy system, multiple computer medium frequency therapy devices, microwave, low frequency therapy devices, etc. to treat patients with bone and joint disease rehabilitation, fracture surgery, osteoporosis, amputation, stroke and other diseases.
