The Department of Stomatology of Tianjin First Central Hospital is a comprehensive discipline that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. It is responsible for the dental teaching of Tianjin Medical University and is the designated training department for master's degree students of the Medical University. In recent years, it has achieved a number of municipal and bureau-level scientific and technological achievements. There are currently 30 employees, including 5 chief physicians, 5 deputy chief physicians, and 10 currently have master's degrees. The dental department of our hospital has strong technical strength and advanced academic level, and comprehensively carries out diagnosis and treatment services in various sub-specialties. Oral Medicine: Diagnosis and treatment of dental pulp periapical disease, periodontal disease, oral mucosal disease, etc.; Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Alveolar surgery, treatment and restoration of oral and maxillofacial trauma, inflammation, tumors, etc.; Oral Prosthodontics: Repair of various teeth and dentition defects and missing parts, jaw reconstruction and repair; Orthodontics of various malocclusions, dental implants, and implant restoration services. In recent years, the Department of Stomatology has launched many new businesses in professional operations, filling many gaps in the market. The Department of Stomatology adheres to the "patient-centered" medical policy and provides you with a safe and worry-free diagnosis and treatment environment using standard aseptic operations; with advanced equipment, superb medical skills, a warm environment and high-quality services, you can have a relaxing visit and leave with satisfaction.In terms of scientific research, although the Department of Stomatology is only a small department in a large general hospital like ours, the people in the Department of Stomatology have never relaxed their efforts in scientific research. In the past few years, they have applied for and been approved to carry out 5 scientific research projects, 3 of which have passed the appraisal, a Municipal Health Bureau Science and Technology Progress Award 2nd Prize, and 2 are pending appraisal. Although they are all bureau-level topics, we firmly believe that as long as we don’t give up and don’t slack off, we will make progress. In the past few years, new technologies have been continuously implemented and developed every year. Four papers have been published in the "China" series of magazines, and many papers have been published in professional journals. In terms of teaching, he is responsible for the oral teaching for undergraduates of Tianjin Medical University; responsible for the clinical teaching of interns and advanced students at the Clinical School of Tianjin Medical University and Tianjin Medical College; there are 2 master's degree tutors in the department. According to the arrangement of the hospital, experts at the deputy director level and above were dispatched to assist the dental department of Ninghe County Hospital, and achieved good results.
