In the past five years, the department's diagnosis accuracy rate for dermatology has reached over 90%, the cure rate has reached over 50%, and the cure and improvement rate has reached over 99%, making the Department of Dermatology and Venereology a prestigious clinical discipline in Tianjin and even in the country. The solid clinical foundation has gradually become a dermatology and venereology discipline that radiates to surrounding provinces. In some aspects, it also attracts patients from remote provinces and even foreign countries to come for treatment. The department is currently developing the following technical features: skin tissue pathology technology: used for the diagnosis of skin tumors, cutaneous vasculitis and other skin diseases; skin immunopathology: used for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of bullous skin diseases and the auxiliary diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus; skin tissue immunohistochemistry technology: used for skin Differential diagnosis of tumors; PUVA and PUVB therapy: used for the clinical treatment of eczema, vitiligo and psoriasis vulgaris; fungal culture and strain identification: used for the diagnosis of superficial and deep mycoses; He-Ne laser technology: used for the treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia and prurigo nodularis;Sexually transmitted disease laboratory diagnostic technology: used for the diagnosis of sexually transmitted diseases; Medlite skin beauty laser technology: used for the clinical treatment of pigmented skin diseases and vascular skin diseases; VBeam laser therapy device: used to treat various vascular skin diseases; Cooltouch laser: used to treat acne; CO2 laser therapy device: used to treat pigmented nevus and viral wart skin diseases; MedliteC laser therapy device: used to treat pigmented skin diseases; clinical application of AllergyScreen system: used for determination of allergens. In addition to busy work, the department continues to send key personnel to Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and other places to study skin pathology, sexually transmitted diseases, etc., expand the scope of clinical diagnosis and treatment, and improve the treatment level of skin diseases. In recent years, faced with weak scientific research capabilities, the department has paid more attention to academic exchanges. Many people have gone abroad to study and conduct academic exchanges, and it has continuously introduced dermatology graduate students to enrich its team.In addition, the department has participated in many continuing education projects and academic exchange activities of the Tianjin Dermatology Society of the Chinese Medical Association, and actively and extensively conducted academic exchanges with colleagues in the dermatology department. This not only drives and promotes the construction and development of the entire department, but also recognizes the gap with advanced departments, further clarifies the goal of progress, and continuously improves core competitiveness.
