The Department of Atomyomatous Hernia Surgery of Tianjin First Central Hospital is a general surgery department established in May 2020 by Tianjin First Central Hospital in order to speed up the construction and development of general surgery disciplines and based on the characteristics of the discipline. It currently has 34 open beds, including 4 single rooms, and has 5 chief physicians, 3 deputy chief physicians, and 5 senior attending physicians, including 5 with doctorate degrees and 7 with master's degrees. It has strong technical force. Thyroid and breast hernia surgery consists of three professional groups: thyroid, breast, and hernia. The thyroidology group took the lead in Tianjin to carry out ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablation for the treatment of thyroid nodular disease, and routinely performs ultrasound-guided thyroid fine-needle aspiration biopsy (US-FNAB) diagnostic technology, as well as open thyroid surgery, function-preserving modified radical resection for thyroid cancer, and surgical treatment of primary and secondary hyperparathyroidism and other diseases. In order to meet the cosmetic needs of patients, currently we carry out completely laparoscopic thyroid surgery through the transoral vestibular approach, the transaxillary approach and the total areolar approach. There are no scars on the neck skin and the surgical results are satisfactory. The Breastology Group routinely carries out early diagnosis technology for breast cancer, as well as minimally invasive rotational resection of breast nodules and radical, modified and extended radical resection of breast cancer.Develop sentinel lymph node biopsy technology to ensure curative effect while reducing the scope of surgery and avoiding unnecessary axillary lymph node dissection. Carry out intraoperative radiotherapy and breast conservation and breast reconstruction techniques. The hernia department was the first to carry out tension-free preperitoneal space repair of inguinal hernia and laparoscopic tension-free repair of inguinal hernia in Tianjin. It uses hybrid hernia surgery, active volume reduction surgery, and tissue structure separation technology to treat huge abdominal incisional hernias. It is skilled in surgical techniques and has rich experience in treating difficult and complex hernias. We have formulated standardized and systematic procedures for the diagnosis, treatment, and postoperative guidance of gastroesophageal reflux disease and hiatal hernia. We have performed more than 200 cases of various types of laparoscopic fundoplication + hiatal hernia repair, and we are at the forefront of the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease in the country.
