The Department of Pharmacy of Tianjin People's Hospital is a platform department that integrates clinical services, scientific research, teaching and management to serve the whole hospital. It currently has 99 employees, including 10 with senior professional titles and 53 with intermediate professional titles. 1 has a doctorate and 5 have master's degrees. The department has advanced and complete hardware facilities, and the department covers a total area of ​​2300m2. It has 8 business groups including outpatient and emergency dispensing, central pharmacy dispensing, intravenous drug dispensing center, drug library, and clinical pharmacy. Responsible for the supply of clinical and scientific research drugs in the hospital, the dispensing and preparation of drugs, as well as clinical drug services and hospital pharmaceutical management; undertake the teaching internship tasks for students from Tianjin Medical University and medical colleges. With the transformation of my country's medical management model and health service concept, the school has vigorously developed clinical pharmacy services as the entry point for the new service concept of "taking the patient as the center and providing patients with full-service pharmaceutical technology services". Six high-level personnel are assigned as full-time clinical pharmacists to actively carry out outpatient medication consultations, go to wards to participate in ward rounds, do a good job in educating patients on medication, and use the professional knowledge of pharmacists to serve the majority of patients as much as possible. The "Pharmaceutical Newsletter" is compiled every quarter to promptly introduce new knowledge and progress in the field of pharmacy, and has been well received by clinicians.In addition, it also carries out many tasks such as adverse drug reaction monitoring, prescription reviews, and therapeutic drug monitoring. Our static distribution center was established in December 2009, with a total area of ​​1065m2, reasonable layout, clean environment, overall cleanliness reaching 10,000-level purification, and partial biological safety cabinets with 100-level purification. So far, the daily dispensing capacity has grown to more than 3,500 bags, which meets the long-term medical orders of patients in the hospital and the centralized preparation of cytotoxic drugs and intravenous nutritional drugs. It has greatly improved the quality of infusion preparations and ensured the safety of patients' medication. In addition, pharmacists strictly review and control doctors' orders, further ensuring the safety of clinical medication and promoting rational medication use in the hospital, playing the role of pharmacists.
