Tianjin Hospital Trauma Emergency Center is the "Tianjin Trauma Emergency Center" which was officially established on September 15, 1994 on the basis of the Tianjin Hospital Emergency Department established in 1984. A professional team headed by Professor Jin Hongbin, a famous orthopedic expert in my country, has gradually formed a programmed, standardized and multidisciplinary trauma emergency treatment system. It has improved the academic status of Tianjin Trauma Emergency Department in the domestic trauma discipline. It has been unanimously praised by domestic and foreign scholars and has won a good social reputation. In early 2012, as one of the key tasks in the adjustment of medical and health resources in Tianjin, our hospital construction project received strong support from leaders at all levels of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Government and the former Municipal Health Bureau (now the Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission), and it was determined that Tianjin Hospital and Tianhe Hospital would be substantively merged. The original Tianjin Hospital Trauma Emergency and Tianhe Hospital Comprehensive Emergency would complement each other on the basis of maintaining their respective characteristics and technical levels, and the technical strength and academic status of emergency emergency and trauma emergency would be further strengthened. The Emergency Department of the original Tianhe Hospital was founded in 1984. It was one of the first emergency departments established in the country. It and the Emergency Department of the original Tianjin Hospital have each experienced thirty years of accumulation and development.The predecessor of the Emergency Medicine Department of the original Tianhe Hospital is the Tianjin "Three Failures" Emergency Research Laboratory founded in 1974 by Professor Wang Jinda, the pioneer and founder of my country's critical illness emergency medicine. Its comprehensive critical illness emergency and integrated emergency medicine technology, medical care, teaching, scientific research, and personnel training are well-known at home and abroad. In 1994, Professor Ren Xinsheng, a well-known expert in critical care emergency medicine in my country, was appointed as the subject leader. He further established an emergency first-aid model integrating pre-hospital emergency, emergency department-ICU-emergency medicine ward at the original Tianhe Hospital. Especially during the 2003 SARS outbreak, as the chief medical treatment expert in Tianjin, he played an important role in effectively controlling the epidemic in our city, and was fully recognized by experts from the World Health Organization.In January 2014, after the emergency departments of the two hospitals were officially merged and established, the medical teaching and research platform will be further expanded, the medical service radius and service capabilities, and the depth and breadth of disciplinary development will be greatly improved. As the frontier of Tianjin Trauma Emergency Center, the emergency department will provide patients with high-quality, efficient and convenient emergency medical services with a new mental outlook and skilled emergency first aid skills, minimize the pain of critically ill patients, and save the lives of severely traumatized and endangered patients. With the continuous improvement of the overall infrastructure construction and discipline construction, the Trauma Emergency Center of Tianjin Hospital will continue to inherit the long history of the two hospitals, relying on the emergency emergency center of a large-scale tertiary-level general hospital with strong technical force and complete hardware facilities in the second phase of our hospital's 20,000m2 project, and with various fully equipped facilities. Surgery, neurology, trauma, spine, hand microsurgery, vascular surgery, urology, ICU, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, stomatology, rehabilitation, psychology, infectious diseases, orthopedics and traumatology of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine and other professional disciplines related to the treatment of various types of trauma, severe polytrauma and compound injuries.As well as the operating room, anesthesiology department, imaging department, interventional department, ultrasound department, laboratory department, blood transfusion department, pharmacy department, reduction room and other functional departments, a multidisciplinary team is formed to comprehensively improve the comprehensive treatment capabilities of the Tianjin Hospital Trauma Emergency Center, improve the timeliness of treatment, and improve the quality of trauma treatment.
