The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Tianjin Hospital was established in June 2003. In September of the same year, it was approved by the Tianjin Municipal Health Bureau as the "Tianjin Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center". In January 2008, it was reviewed and determined by the Tianjin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau as one of the first designated institutions for medical rehabilitation of work-related injuries in Tianjin. Relying on the orthopedic technology platform of Tianjin Hospital, it has now developed into a large orthopedic rehabilitation center with a certain reputation in China, featuring postoperative rehabilitation treatment of hand injuries and bone trauma. The orthopedic rehabilitation center has wards, outpatient treatment departments and inpatient treatment departments, with a total area of ​​more than 5,000 m2 and a treatment area of ​​about 2,200 m2. Among them, the rehabilitation ward is located in the Hexi Campus of Tianjin Hospital. There are currently 72 open beds in the ward. Both the Hexi Campus and Hexi Campus of Tianjin Hospital have treatment departments; It treats patients with spinal fractures and spinal cord injuries, dysfunction after hand trauma, fractures with dysfunction, sports injuries, neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, post-amputation, and post-hip and knee replacement dysfunction from all over the country. The good software and hardware environment and facilities have attracted a large number of patients from all over the country. The high level of professional skills and good curative effects have always been at the forefront of similar disciplines across the country.The Outpatient Treatment Department of Hexi Campus of Tianjin Hospital mainly treats outpatients. It is also responsible for in-hospital consultation and bedside rehabilitation treatment of inpatients in other departments in Hexi Campus.
