The Psychological Counseling Department of Tianjin Hospital is composed of psychiatrists and psychotherapists with rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in clinical psychiatry and psychological counseling/therapy. At present, the department's medical services mainly include psychological intervention for patients with various mental illnesses, people with psychological distress, and patients with psychosomatic diseases such as neurodermatitis, hypertension, diabetes, and chronic pain. The fields of diagnosis and treatment of mental illness include: 1. Affective mental illness, such as depression, bipolar disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, etc.; 2. Neurosis, such as anxiety disorder, phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, hypochondriasis, etc.; 3. Alcohol dependence; 4. Cognitive and memory disorders, such as dementia, mental retardation, etc.; 5. Early identification, intervention and rehabilitation guidance of schizophrenia; 6. Physiological disorders related to psychological factors, such as sleep disorders, eating disorders, sexual dysfunction, etc.; 7. Mental rehabilitation guidance and mental health education. Areas of expertise in psychological counseling and treatment include: 1. Marriage relationship, parent-child relationship guidance, family relationship repair, etc.; 2. Adaptation difficulties; 3. Service arrangement: Outpatient clinic opening: After the review of our hospital's top three hospitals, clinics will be officially opened in early August. Liaison consultation services: Currently, liaison consultation psychiatric services can be provided for all wards and outpatient clinics in the hospital.
