The Department of Stomatology of Tianjin Hospital is a comprehensive discipline integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. There are 17 doctors and 3 nursing staff in the department, including 2 with doctorate degrees and 10 with master's degrees from famous universities such as Peking University School of Medicine, Central South University Xiangya Medical College, and Tianjin Medical University. It has strong technical strength and advanced academic level, and can comprehensively carry out diagnosis and treatment services in various sub-specialties. Endodontics: filling of caries, endodontic disease and periapical disease, microscopic root canal treatment of difficult root canals, prevention and treatment of children's dental diseases. Periodontology: After systematic training at Peking University, we not only carry out ultrasonic tooth cleaning and systematic treatment of periodontal diseases, but also cooperate with other sub-disciplines to perform new technologies such as crown lengthening, flap and scaling, and postoperative maintenance of implants. Oral and maxillofacial surgery: extraction of various complex impacted teeth; diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint disease, suturing of maxillofacial trauma, diagnosis and treatment of oral and maxillofacial cysts, treatment of oral and maxillofacial infections. Department of Prosthodontics: Cosmetic restoration of front and rear teeth, various tooth defects, dentition defect repair; cosmetic restoration of tetracycline teeth and discolored teeth; full denture repair, full mouth soft lining material application, thermal gel removable denture repair, monolithic cast bracket repair, hidden denture repair, and pure titanium bracket repair.Department of Orthodontics: Fixed orthodontic treatment for adolescents and adults such as misaligned teeth, cross-bite teeth, protruding teeth (buck teeth), retruded mandibles (micromandibular), open teeth, deep overjet, dental trauma, etc., self-ligating bracket correction technology, straight wire arch correction technology, Tip-edge technology, functional appliance correction, etc. to correct various malocclusions. Oral Implants: Implant restoration for various types of missing teeth.
