Gastroenterology Department

The Gastroenterology Department of Tianjin Hospital in Tianjin focuses on the medical diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as esophagus, stomach, intestine, liver, biliary and pancreas. It is established by relying on the original advantages of Tianhe Hospital and bringing together elites from both hospitals. The department currently has 11 physicians, all of whom have master's degrees or above, including 1 doctor, 2 chief physicians (1 master's tutor), 4 deputy chief physicians, and 4 attending physicians. The department is equipped with advanced equipment, including electronic gastroscopy, electronic colonoscopy, duodenoscopy, intelligent magnetically controlled capsule gastrointestinal endoscopy, liver instantaneous elastography testing equipment, C13 breath test Helicobacter pylori detector, automatic enema machine and other high-end equipment. It is a trinity of outpatient clinics, wards, and endoscopy centers that provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services on a regular basis. It is now the clinical teaching base and master's training site of Tianjin Medical University and Tianjin University.
