Anesthesiology Department

Since its establishment, the Department of Anesthesiology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine has continued to grow and develop with the unremitting efforts of generations of anesthesiologists. It has now developed into a comprehensive department integrating clinical anesthesia, first aid and resuscitation, clinical teaching and scientific research. There are currently 2 chief physicians, 3 deputy chief physicians, 6 attending physicians, 4 residents, 1 doctoral candidate, 7 master's degree candidates, and 7 classroom and clinical teaching teachers. The Anesthesiology Department is currently responsible for surgical anesthesia, emergency intubation, deep venous puncture and lumbar puncture, etc.; it is also responsible for teaching tasks and clinical internship tasks for undergraduates, seven-year students and international classes of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
