Cerebrovascular Disease Department

The First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The Department of Cerebrovascular Disease of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine, under the guidance of the ideas of "holistic view" and "treating the disease before it occurs", emphasizes the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, internal medicine and surgery, and builds a preventive diagnosis and treatment model from pre-hospital first aid to hospitalization to rehabilitation. It has established a cerebrovascular disease diagnosis and treatment unit featuring neurovascular intervention, microneurosurgery, and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine to provide stroke patients with comprehensive solutions such as integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine drug treatment, neurovascular interventional treatment, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation treatment. In addition to the existing large-scale C-arm digital angiography machine, the new hospital has purchased a large-scale Siemens flat-panel C-arm digital angiography machine, which fully meets the needs of clinical interventional diagnosis and treatment of neurocerebrovascular diseases. After more than 30 years of development, neurointerventional endovascular treatment technology has become mature and has become an important part of minimally invasive medicine in the neurology department. It has the characteristics of minimally invasive and minimally invasive surgery, easy operation, small trauma, fast recovery, short hospitalization time, and reliable results. It is increasingly recognized and valued by clinicians. In recent years, this technology has become an important complementary alternative to traditional brain surgery and expanded the treatment scope of conventional brain medicine.
