The Neonatology Department of the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University has 21 beds and is one of the critical neonatal rescue centers in Tianjin. There are currently 37 medical staff, including 2 chief physicians, 1 master's tutor, 3 doctors with doctoral degrees, and 10 doctors with master's degrees. It is equipped with advanced equipment such as a neonatal ventilator, neonatal brain function monitor, multi-functional premature infant incubator, bedside cranial B-ultrasound machine, micro-injection pump, ECG and blood oxygen monitor, etc. It has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common and difficult diseases in neonatal medicine. He is good at diagnosing and treating diseases such as premature infants, very low birth weight infants, premature infant respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal asphyxia, neonatal jaundice, neonatal pneumonia, neonatal sepsis, neonatal pulmonary hypertension, neonatal air leakage, neonatal wet lung and respiratory failure. Especially for premature infants with a gestational age of less than 28 weeks and a birth weight of less than 1,000 grams, the success rate of treatment and the reduction of disability rate have reached the leading level in Tianjin.
