Thyroid and Breast Surgery Department

The Thyroid and Breast Surgery Department of the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University has a bed capacity of 23. It is the deputy chairman of the Thyroid Cancer Professional Committee of the Tianjin Anti-Cancer Association and the deputy leader of the Thyroid and Parathyroid Science Group of the Tianjin Medical Association. There are currently 18 medical staff, including 3 deputy chief physicians, 3 doctors with doctoral degrees, and 3 doctors with master's degrees. He was the first to carry out multifunctional preservation of cervical lymph node dissection, nerve transplantation, parathyroid gland preservation and transplantation, and surgical treatment of primary, secondary and tertiary hyperparathyroidism. Laparoscopic thyroidectomy and cervical lymph node dissection were performed to achieve a “markless neck” surgical effect. The department is committed to the precise treatment of breast cancer, from complete examination and evaluation to patient diagnosis and staging, precise molecular typing, and standardized efficacy evaluation, which has improved the surgical resection rate and postoperative survival rate.
