The Cardiovascular Surgery Department of the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University has 20 beds and currently has 23 medical staff, including 2 chief physicians, 1 deputy chief physician, 1 doctor with a doctorate degree, 4 doctors with a master's degree, and 1 nurse with a master's degree. The department can perform cardiovascular surgery, mainly including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacement or valvuloplasty, major vascular surgery (ascending aorta and total aortic arch replacement + "stent elephant trunk" surgery, Debranch hybrid total arch replacement surgery, Bentall surgery, Cabrol surgery, Wheat surgery, David surgery, etc.). Regardless of the difficulty of surgery, the number of surgeries and the success rate, they are all at the leading level in Tianjin. In the future, the department will actively carry out minimally invasive hybridization technologies such as TAVI, and continue to explore and learn in new technical fields.
