The department focuses on the treatment of diabetes and also deals with a variety of endocrine diseases, such as obesity, pituitary tumors, thyroid and adrenal gland diseases, pheochromocytoma, hyperaldosteronism, Cushing syndrome treatment, etc. It undertakes the teaching tasks of chapters on blood diseases, endocrinology and metabolism for undergraduates, seven-year students, dentistry and other majors.
