Respiratory Department

The Department of Respiratory Medicine of the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University has 39 beds and 38 medical staff, including 5 chief physicians, 4 deputy chief physicians, 2 doctors with doctorate degrees, and 10 doctors with master's degrees. Equipped with a pulmonary function room, bronchoscopy room, sleep respiratory monitoring and treatment room, it has rich clinical experience in the treatment of severe and complex respiratory infections, COPD, asthma, cor pulmonale, pulmonary embolism, sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and pulmonary nodules. Responsible for the theoretical and clinical teaching of clinical medicine, and the standardized clinical training and teaching for residents and professional masters. Currently, 2 clinical scientific research projects and 3 clinical drug trial studies are carried out.
