Stomatology Department

Since its establishment in the 1950s, the Department of Stomatology of Tianjin Children's Hospital has two campuses: Machang Campus and Beichen Campus.

The outpatient clinic has a total of 29 medical staff, including 23 doctors (10 with intermediate professional titles and above, 13 physicians) and 6 nurses. The clinic is currently equipped with 16 oral and dental comprehensive treatment chairs and 2 local anesthesia operating rooms.

The current businesses include 1. Orthodontics: diagnosis and sequential treatment of dental and skeletal malocclusions in children at various stages of growth and development;

Diagnosis and treatment of various bad oral habits, bruxism, and temporomandibular joint disorders;

Mouth breathing affecting jaw development, diagnosis and combined treatment of apnea syndrome in children;

Early diagnosis and treatment of some genetic and non-hereditary head and neck syndromes;

2. Oral aspect: diagnosis and treatment of childhood caries, endodontic disease, periapical disease, and odontogenic space infection;

Diagnosis and treatment of common mucosal diseases in children;

Children's oral health care, pit and fissure sealing, fluoride application, etc.;

Extraction of children's deciduous teeth, routine treatment of children's oral and maxillofacial trauma, etc.
