The Burn Department of Tianjin Children's Hospital is currently a member unit of the Burn Surgery Branch of the Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the Pediatric Burns Group of the Burn Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member unit of the Tianjin Branch of Burn Surgery of the Chinese Medical Association.
Our hospital established the burn specialty in 1960. With the continuous improvement of clinical treatment technology and quality, the specialty has been on the rise every year.
Subsequently, skin regenerative medicine technology (MEBT/MEBO), growth hormone, nanosilver and biological dressings were applied. Severe burn wound debridement and scab removal were performed with autologous or allogeneic skin covering surgery. Acellular dermal matrix biological dressings were used to cover and repair difficult-to-heal wounds. At the same time, anti-scar rehabilitation treatment was carried out after wound healing to avoid deformity and dysfunction caused by scar hyperplasia and reduce the number of surgeries.
Dozens of post-burn limb deformity correction and repair surgeries are completed every year, and we collaborate with various departments to complete the treatment of difficult-to-heal wounds caused by various causes, which greatly improves the speed and quality of wound healing and reduces the complications and sequelae of burn wounds.
People-oriented, we carefully develop personalized treatment plans for each child, including follow-up and outpatient review to ensure smooth recovery.
