Rheumatology and Immunology Department

The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of Tianjin Children's Hospital (Immunology Department of Longyan Campus, operating two standardized wards) has 68 open beds and discharges more than 4,000 patients annually.

Currently, he is the leader of the Immunology Group of Tianjin Pediatric Society.

Specialty and special outpatient clinics such as immune allergy (allergy), purple/Kawasaki disease, leaflet/EB virus infection, and vaccination for special groups are also opened in Longyan and Machang campuses, and receive nearly 10,000 patients every year.

Our department has rich clinical experience in treating various rheumatic immune diseases in children. We carry out humoral and cellular immune screening, various autoantibodies, allergens, cytokines and genetic tests to meet the diagnostic needs of specialist diseases.

Diseases diagnosed and treated include various inflammatory joint diseases in childhood (such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, etc.), systemic vasculitis (IgA vasculitis/Schonlein purpura, Kawasaki disease, Takayasu arteritis, Behcet's disease, etc.), connective tissue diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, Sjögren's syndrome, mixed connective tissue disease, scleroderma, undifferentiated connective tissue disease, antiphospholipid syndrome, etc.), various primary immune diseases Defect diseases and autoinflammatory diseases, lymphadenitis and lymphoproliferative diseases, hemophagocytic syndrome/macrophage activation syndrome, skin hypersensitivity diseases, allergic (allergic) reaction diseases, Epstein-Barr virus and other special pathogen infectious diseases, as well as various difficult diseases manifested by unexplained fever, etc. The service scope covers this city and surrounding areas, Hebei, Shandong, Inner Mongolia and Northeast China.

The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology currently has 30 doctors, including 6 with senior professional titles and 1 master's degree tutor. Many of them serve in professional academic groups such as immunity, rheumatism and allergy across the country and in this city, and have long been responsible for clinical teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students at Tianjin Medical University, Nankai University and Tianjin University School of Medicine.

In the past three years, the department has published more than 20 articles in Chinese journals and SCI, participated in the editing of 6 books, authored or participated in the formulation of my country's "Expert Consensus on Diagnosis and Treatment of Juvenile Dermatomyositis", "Consensus on the Application of Hormones in Children's Rheumatic Diseases (Dermatomyositis Part)" and "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Children in China". It has undertaken 1 municipal-level project, and one person has been rated as a high-level talent (scientific research professional elite).
