Nursing Department

The team of the Nursing Department of the Hematology Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences has always adhered to the "patient-centered" approach and strives to provide patients with safe, high-quality and efficient nursing services. The hospital implements nursing management led by the director in charge - director of the nursing department - head nurse. The nursing team is constantly growing. There are currently 530 nursing staff, including 1 chief nurse, 12 deputy chief nurses, 219 supervisor nurses, and 207 nurse practitioners.

At present, the nursing team of our hospital is responsible for the nursing work of 767 beds in the hospital, with a total of 22 nursing units.

Our hospital launched a reserve cadre management plan in 2015, with plans to select key nursing personnel, create opportunities for learning, exchanges, and teaching, and conduct comprehensive and systematic management knowledge training and clinical practice for nursing managers.

At the same time, the hospital continues to strengthen the construction of the specialist nurse team, explore the role of specialist nurses in clinical nursing work, actively give full play to their professional expertise, carry out new specialist business and new technology work, promote discipline construction and development, and provide patients with high-quality nursing services.

The Nursing Department has established a "Nursing Quality and Safety Management Committee", which consists of 10 nursing quality control groups and nursing professional groups, which regularly conduct quality supervision on each nursing unit. Each department has established a secondary quality control organization to conduct self-examination and rectification every month to continuously improve the quality of nursing.

Since 2016, our hospital has been ranked at the forefront of the scientific and quantitative nursing rankings of more than 1,600 tertiary hospitals across the country for four consecutive years. The hospital takes specialty development as the guide, improves the level of nursing research, and creates a nursing research atmosphere. It actively applies for the Xiehe Youth Scientific Research Project and the Tianjin Nursing Association Nursing Research Project every year, actively develops new nursing technologies and projects, and promotes the construction of clinical nursing disciplines in our hospital.
