Clinical Psychology Department

The Clinical Psychology Department of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital was established in July 2017. Professor Yang Jianli, a nationally renowned psychiatrist, serves as the department director. Department members mainly include Yang Jianli, Luo Lanlan, Yang Kun, Si Jijian, Sun Lili, etc.

The department is the training center for doctoral and master's degrees in psychiatry and mental health of Tianjin Medical University, and is responsible for clinical care, teaching, scientific research, prevention and rehabilitation.

With the joint efforts of all staff in the department, the department's business service scope and service population continue to expand.

While providing diagnosis and treatment for patients with difficult and complicated diseases such as anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders and various physical symptom disorders, it also provides distinctive sub-professional services such as sexual and mental health clinics, psychological consultation and psychotherapy clinics, psychological testing, and various physical therapies to meet the diverse needs of patients.

The department currently has 1 doctoral supervisor, 2 master's degree supervisors, 2 doctoral supervisors, and 3 master's degree supervisors.

Trained 2 doctoral students and more than 20 master's students.

The department attaches great importance to related psychological problems in other clinical specialties, strengthens liaison consultation with psychiatry, and actively carries out multidisciplinary consultation services to solve mental health-related problems of patients in other clinical specialties.

At the same time, we train doctors at the grassroots level to bring high-quality medical services to the general public.

The department actively carries out mental health science popularization and education work. It holds free clinics, publicity and science popularization activities on World Mental Health Day and World Sleep Day every year. It actively participates in mental health-related academic conferences and activities in other clinical majors, and goes deep into universities and social groups to carry out mental health science popularization knowledge, arouse the public's attention to mental health, arouse the public's correct understanding of psychological problems, and improve the identification rate of mental diseases.

The Department of Clinical Psychology of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital was established in July 2017, with Professor Yang Jianli as the department director.

At the beginning of its establishment, there were five doctors: Yang Jianli, Luo Lanlan, Yang Kun, Si Jijian, and Sun Lili, who were responsible for clinical, teaching, and scientific research in psychiatry and mental health.

Clinical work includes clinical diagnosis and treatment, hospital-wide consultation, and teaching work includes teaching psychiatry and mental health courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

In September 2017, the Clinical Psychology Department of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital Airport Hospital was established.
