The Pathology Department of the Second Hospital of Hohhot was established in 2012. It is fully equipped with specimen cabinets, sampling tables, dehydrators, embedding machines, freezing tables, German Lycra slicers, Lycra freezers, Lycra dehydrators, Lycra staining and sealing machines, liquid-based thin-layer cell preparation machines and other equipment. It can carry out pathological diagnosis of ordinary paraffin section staining, common immunohistochemistry and special staining, routine detailed diagnosis and frozen examination. As the only hepatology hospital with specialist characteristics in Hohhot, the Pathology Department carries out cytological testing, biopsy specimen testing, and liver biopsy pathology examinations with specialist characteristics. In the liver biopsy pathology examination report, pathological diagnosis of the classification and staging of common hepatitis and unexplained liver lesions is provided to provide clinicians with a strong basis for diagnosis and treatment.
