In the past three years, it has trained a total of 9 master's degree students, 4 teachers from the autonomous region, and more than 50 regular training personnel. Professional characteristics and scope of diagnosis and treatment 1. Professional characteristics:The department adheres to the guiding ideology of traditional Chinese medicine of "combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation", pays attention to the overall concept, follows the development path of combining inheritance and innovation, combines clinical practice on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine theory, and conducts research based on the development concept of "mainly traditional Chinese medicine, supplemented by Western medicine, and complementary Chinese and Western medicine" For the diagnosis and treatment of encephalopathy, it is proposed that the prevention and treatment of stroke should focus on the conditioning of the "spleen and stomach", with the main treatment methods of "drying dampness and strengthening the spleen, warming the spleen and strengthening the spleen, regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, replenishing qi and strengthening the spleen, clearing the middle and strengthening the spleen, harmonizing the stomach and strengthening the spleen", and gradually formed the academic idea of "treating stroke from the perspective of the spleen and stomach". Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has the characteristics of multi-channel, multi-target, holistic treatment and treating both the symptoms and root causes of neurological diseases. 2. Diagnosis and treatment scope: Acute stroke: Under the initiative of our department, the hospital has established a multidisciplinary stroke center. For patients with acute cerebral infarction within 3-6 hours of onset, intravenous thrombolysis is used. Cerebral angiography is used to perform arterial dilation or stent implantation on the stenotic parts of intracranial and intracranial blood vessels. Minimally invasive intracranial hematoma surgery and aneurysm occlusion are used to treat acute and subacute hemorrhagic cerebrovascular diseases. At the same time, our department carries out early prevention and rehabilitation treatment in neurology, giving full play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine. Taking the identification of traditional Chinese medicine constitution as the entry point, we adopt the diagnosis and treatment method of combining traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to regulate physical differences and prevent the occurrence and development of stroke. The combination of theory and practice greatly improves the therapeutic effect of stroke. Headache, dizziness and psychosomatic disorders: After years of efforts, our department has adopted a combination of psychological evaluation and syndrome differentiation analysis of traditional Chinese medicine, and has formed a relatively complete set of diagnosis and treatment plans of traditional Chinese medicine and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in this field. Brain diseases such as Parkinson's disease and myasthenia gravis: Our department is based on traditional Chinese medicine decoction treatment, combined with appropriate Chinese medicine techniques such as acupuncture, auricular acupoints, and hot steamed buns, as well as modern rehabilitation, functional training and other methods as treatment methods. According to each patient's physical type, treatment based on syndrome differentiation and reasonable selection The method is a multi-faceted and multi-channel comprehensive treatment that promotes the recovery of patients' limb movements, feelings and other physiological functions, improves the patient's ability to take care of themselves, improves the patient's quality of life, prevents the recurrence or aggravation of encephalopathy, reduces the financial burden on the patient's family, and has significant clinical effects. Special therapies, special medicines (preparations) and special services 1. Special therapies:The department adheres to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and follows a development path that combines inheritance and innovation. It combines clinical practice on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine theory and has a unique academic perspective. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has the characteristics of multi-channel, multi-target, holistic treatment and treating both the symptoms and root causes of neurological diseases. The specialty therapies currently carried out by the department include: acupuncture, ordinary cupping, bedside rehabilitation, swallowing nerve electrical stimulator, intradermal acupuncture, iontophoresis, thunder-fire moxibustion, hot ampoule, honey decoction and sublingual pricking and bloodletting. 2. Special preparations: Our department has developed a series of special Chinese patent medicines based on the types of diseases in the department. There are a total of 3 homemade preparations: Qizhi Pills, Xiongxie Zhitong Pills and Yuunding Pills, with remarkable clinical effects. Qizhi Pill is mainly used to treat patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment or vascular dementia with phlegm and blood stasis. This drug was created by Director Guo Zengyuan in 2003 and applied to become a specialty preparation within our hospital in 2014. Clinical studies have found that the total effective rate of Qizhi Decoction in treating patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment and phlegm and blood stasis syndrome is 86.3%, and the clinical effect is good. Currently, 2 projects have been applied for to study the mechanism of Qizhi decoction in treating cognitive impairment after stroke. Xiongxie Zhitong Pill is mainly used to treat patients with migraine caused by wind, phlegm and blood stasis. This drug was created by Director Guo Zengyuan and applied to become a specialty preparation within our hospital in 2014. The clinical effect is good. Currently, one project has been applied for to study the clinical observation of Xiongzhi Zhitong Pills in the treatment of migraine. Yuanding Wan is mainly used for patients with wind-yang ascending disturbance type vertigo. This medicine is prescribed based on the experience of Director Ren Guohua. In 2017, it applied to become a specialist preparation within our hospital. 3. Special services: In terms of traditional Chinese medicine, under the leadership of academic leader Director Guo Zengyuan, with the guiding ideology of "combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation" and the "holistic concept and syndrome differentiation and treatment" of traditional Chinese medicine as the core, Zang-fu syndrome differentiation and triple burner syndrome differentiation are applied, and "oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine plus acupuncture" is the treatment method for syndrome differentiation and treatment. For example, modified Simiao Pills and modified Buzhong Yiqi Decoction combined with acupuncture are used to treat myasthenia gravis and acute and chronic inflammatory demyelinating multiple peripheral nerve root neuritis diseases; modified Shetong Zhuyu Decoction and modified Xiaohuoluo Dan are used to treat motor neuron disease and syringomyelia; Scorpio Qutong Granules are used to treat hypertrophic durameningitis, and the clinical efficacy is good. In terms of critical care, the department continues to send staff to domestic hospitals with strong expertise in the field for further studies to further enhance the department's ability to handle critical care.According to statistics, among the 1,474 patients treated throughout 2022, 26.7% were critically ill patients, among which complications such as acute cerebrovascular disease, intracranial tumors, and post-stroke related pneumonia were the most common. Our department is currently a unit of the "Stroke Center Alliance of the Chinese Stroke Society" and the "Stroke Alliance of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region". We have established a stroke center and successfully joined the China Stroke Prevention and Treatment Map. For acute cerebrovascular diseases, the department can currently perform intravenous thrombolysis, endovascular interventional thrombectomy, stent angioplasty, aneurysm tamponade, and minimally invasive puncture and drainage of cerebral hemorrhage. According to the patient's condition and complications, the method of combining traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture and medicine is used in a timely manner, such as The application of Qizhi Pills to improve post-stroke cognitive impairment, honey decoction method to improve post-stroke constipation, and sublingual pricking and bloodletting combined with swallowing electrical stimulator to prevent and improve stroke-related pneumonia have greatly reduced the occurrence of stroke complications and better reflected the complementary advantages of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.
