The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nephrology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was established in 1982. It has performed nephrotomy since 1994 and has performed more than 3,000 cases of renal puncture and 980 cases of interventional treatment of kidney and liver cysts. In 2012, it was rated as a key specialty construction unit in the 12th Five-Year Plan of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a key specialty construction specialty of the Ministry of Health in 2013. The subject leader, Director Zhang Duo, is a member of the Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nephrology, an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nephrology, a part-time master's tutor at Inner Mongolia Medical University, and a part-time doctoral tutor at Harbin Medical University. The department currently has 2 chief physicians, 2 deputy chief physicians, 4 attending physicians, and 1 resident physician, including 1 doctoral supervisor and a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Inner Mongolia, 1 doctor, and 7 masters. There are 15 nursing staff, including 1 deputy chief nurse, 6 supervisory nurses, 6 nurse practitioners and 2 nurses. 1. Professional features and scope of diagnosis and treatment Professional features: Integrate Western medicine diagnosis and treatment into one, integrating clinical, scientific research and teaching.Using traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation prescriptions, effective Chinese patent medicines, Chinese medicine retention enema, colon dialysis, ion introduction, foot bath, acupoint application, auricular bean pressure, air pressure wave therapy, Chinese medicine collapse, thunder-fire moxibustion, dietary therapy and other integrated comprehensive therapies, combined with Western medicine and Western medicine treatment, can effectively relieve symptoms, improve the quality of life and shorten the course of the disease. The IgA No. 1 and IgA No. 2 prescriptions developed by our department are effective in treating hematuria and proteinuria in IgA nephropathy and have been clinically observed in more than 650 cases. Enema No. 1 and Enema No. 2 prescriptions can effectively reduce blood creatinine in the treatment of acute and chronic renal failure. They are easy to operate and low-cost; ions Introduction No. Ⅰ and Iontophoresis No. 2 prescriptions have unique curative effects in the treatment of kidney disease and renal failure; acupoint application of Wenshen Paste can improve patients' symptoms such as back pain, edema, cold limbs, chills, impotence and other symptoms, improve the body's immune function, and is suitable for the treatment of various chronic kidney diseases and kidney deficiency syndromes.Diagnosis and treatment scope: Our department cooperates with the Pathology Teaching and Research Section of Harbin Medical University and Peking University Institute of Nephrology to complete pathological diagnosis and consultation of various primary and secondary kidney diseases, and treats acute and chronic nephritis, acute and chronic renal failure, nephrotic syndrome, IgA nephropathy, Henoch-Schonlein purpura and purpura nephritis, allergic vasculitis and renal damage, systemic lupus erythematosus and lupus nephritis, Systemic small vessel vasculitis and kidney damage, complications such as diabetes and diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive kidney damage, hepatitis B virus-related nephritis, acute and chronic interstitial nephritis, urinary tract infections, urinary tract stones, renal cysts, polycystic kidneys, interventional treatment of liver cysts, hydronephrosis and TCM edema, low back pain, hematuria, nephritis, stranguria syndrome, urinary tract infection, asthenia, and kidney deficiency syndromes, etc. 2. Scientific research topicsThere are currently three research projects in progress: "Preliminary Experimental Research on the Development of IgA-Ⅰ.Ⅱ New Drugs" chaired by Director Zhang Duo and "Research on the Pathogenesis of IgA Nephropathy" jointly researched by Harbin Medical University; "Research on the Syndrome Patterns of Mid-Term Hypertensive Renal Damage" chaired by Director Zhang Li. Among them, the early "Clinical and Pathological Research on IgA-I and II Treatment of IgA Nephropathy" won the first prize of the Autonomous Region Health Science and Technology Progress Award in 1999, the second prize of the Autonomous Region Government Science and Technology Progress Award in 2000, the first prize of the Autonomous Region's Outstanding Contribution to Medical and Health Science and Technology in 2010, the third prize of the Autonomous Region Government Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of the Autonomous Region Government Natural Science Award in 2012.
