The Medical Imaging Department of Hohhot First Hospital currently has a staff of 57 people, including 28 physicians, including 12 master's degree students, 1 postgraduate student, and 15 undergraduate students; including 6 people with senior professional titles, 5 people with deputy senior professional titles, 12 people with intermediate professional titles, and 5 people with junior professional titles. There are 16 technicians, including 9 with undergraduate degrees and 7 with junior college degrees; 1 has obtained deputy senior professional title and 2 have obtained intermediate professional title. There are 13 nurses, including 6 with undergraduate degrees and 7 with associate degrees; 1 has a senior professional title and 7 have deputy senior professional titles. The Department of Medical Imaging is a key discipline in Hohhot and the Imaging Quality Control Center of Hohhot. In 2016, it was merged from the original CT room, MR room, radiology department, and nuclear medicine department, and was subdivided into four professional groups: chest group, abdominal group, osteomuscular group, and neurological group. The echelon composition of the medical imaging department is scientific and reasonable. In 2019, the workload was 165,000, and the annual income was 45 million yuan. Among them, the number of CT examinations is 80,000, the number of MR examinations is 15,000, and the number of general radiography examinations is 70,000. 1. Featured technologyLow-dose early lung cancer screening, coronary artery CTA, MR examination of scar pregnancy, MR examination of placenta implantation, fetal head MR examination, cardiac CT perfusion, lower limb venous CTV, ideal-iq technology fatty liver quantification, perfusion of cerebral infarction, CTP and CTA combined scan, gastrointestinal tract angiography, pyelography, mammography, renal dynamic functional imaging, parathyroid imaging. 2. Teaching and Research Situation In 2018, the Department of Medical Imaging was approved by the Hohhot Science and Technology Bureau for the scientific research project: Research on the application of multi-sequence MRI in scar pregnancy. The project is currently progressing smoothly and is waiting for acceptance. In 2019, the application topic ideal-iq technology for quantification of fatty liver is currently in the approval process. In the past three years, 1 SCI article, 1 core science and technology article, and 1 national-level article have been published. In 2020, Liu Jun, deputy director of the Department of Medical Imaging, was hired as a tutor for master's students in Imaging Medicine and Nuclear Medicine at Inner Mongolia Medical University. 3. Academic exchange activities 1. As the Hohhot Imaging Quality Control Center, the Medical Imaging Department has held many Hohhot Radiological Imaging Medical Quality Control Conferences and Imaging Diagnosis Academic Seminars.2. In order to better fulfill social responsibilities, the Medical Imaging Department cooperates with the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Disabled Persons' Federation to undertake imaging diagnosis before hearing aid implantation for children with hearing impairment in the region. 3. In order to keep pace with the times, the Department of Medical Imaging actively participates in domestic and foreign academic lectures, and sends department personnel in batches according to academic groups to attend meetings and study, improve the team's imaging diagnosis level, and enhance their own professional quality. The department team has gradually formed a talent structure with multiple talents, each with its own strengths, complementary advantages, and common growth. It has gathered a group of young and middle-aged backbones with the same aspirations and hard work, laying a solid human resource foundation for the vigorous development of the department's business. 4. Department Equipment Currently, the Medical Imaging Department has 4 large-scale equipments, including 4 CTs, 2 MRIs, 1 SPECT, 1 bone density machine, 2 digital gastrointestinal machines, 1 Lianying mobile DR machine, 5 ordinary X-ray machines, etc., a total of 16 machines. Fully use the PACS system and enter the digital era, basically realizing digital management, convenient data storage, and convenience for patients. Artificial intelligence screening for pulmonary nodules has significantly improved the efficiency and speed of pulmonary nodule screening, and improved screening accuracy. Cloud film storage greatly facilitates medical treatment for patients. 5. Department Service ConceptThe Department of Medical Imaging has always adhered to the theme of "patient-centered and improving medical service quality", strengthened the normalization of epidemic prevention and control tasks, and strengthened medical quality and medical service management. Strictly implement various rules, regulations and operating procedures of the hospital and departments, continuously improve the quality and professional level of medical personnel at all levels, and comprehensively improve the diagnosis, technology, and service levels of the medical imaging department. Adhere to morning study every Monday to Thursday: learning various systems, reading films and discussing difficult cases, etc. Strengthen the education of medical ethics and medical ethics, emphasize the window service function, simplify the service process, optimize the service environment, and make window services more optimized and humane.
