The Anesthesiology Department of Hohhot First Hospital currently has 55 medical staff, including 1 chief physician, 2 deputy chief physicians, 12 attending physicians, 4 resident physicians, 1 head nurse, and 35 nursing staff. Among them, 6 have master's degrees and 40 have bachelor's degrees. The department was established in 1988. After the completion of the new campus, there are 17 operating rooms with laminar flow, including 3 operating rooms with a level of 100, 4 operating rooms with a level of 1,000, 8 operating rooms with a level of 10,000, 2 negative pressure operating rooms, and 2 outpatient operating rooms. The staff composition of the anesthesiology department is scientific and reasonable, and the construction of the physician and nursing echelon is gradually improved. The Department of Anesthesia is responsible for the anesthesia work for all inpatient and outpatient surgeries in the hospital. It is also responsible for the tracheal intubation and deep vein puncture for rescue operations in the hospital. Currently, it completes more than 8,000 cases of anesthesia in the operating room and more than 4,000 cases of anesthesia outside the operating room every year. It participates in about 500 cases of in-hospital emergency operations (tracheal intubation, deep vein puncture, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, etc.). Medical characteristics The main tasks of the anesthesiology department include clinical anesthesia (inside and outside the operating room), post-anesthesia monitoring and treatment, pain diagnosis and treatment (acute and chronic pain), first aid and resuscitation, anesthesia care and surgical care, and related scientific research and teaching work.Currently, it can undertake surgical anesthesia for patients of different types and ages, including cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, hepatobiliary surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, oncology, urology, vascular surgery, burns department, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, stomatology, interventional department, surgical anesthesia for critically ill patients and trauma emergency patients, etc. The anesthesia department performs general anesthesia for patients as young as one day old and as old as 102 years old. At the same time, acute and chronic pain treatment, painless abortion, painless delivery, painless gastrointestinal endoscopy and painless bronchoscopy were also carried out. The Anesthesiology Department also actively introduces new technologies and expands new businesses. Currently, it has developed cutting-edge technologies in the field of anesthesia such as airway management visualization technology, ultrasound-guided nerve block technology, esophageal ultrasound for perioperative cardiac function monitoring and evaluation technology, and enhanced recovery surgery (ERUS). 2. In October of the same year, Hohhot First Hospital was approved as Hohhot Clinical Anesthesia Quality Control Center.
