Features of the department: The main feature of this department is minimally invasive surgery. Gallstones and gallbladder polyps are one of the common diseases in China. The department adopts a combination of minimally invasive and open surgery to relieve the pain of a large number of patients, with the advantages of short hospital stay, less pain, and quick recovery.
90%-95% of patients in the department are treated laparoscopically.
In terms of personnel training: Doctors plan to go out for further study every year. Six doctors have gone to higher-level hospitals to study for one year.
They are Peking University People's Hospital, Harbin Medical University, Shanghai Xinhua Hospital, Union Hospital, Chongqing Southwest Hospital, etc.
Five nurses went out to study at Shanghai Xinhua Hospital for one year and three months. They brought back new ideas, greatly improved the medical care level of the department, and laid a good foundation for future development.
In terms of nursing: Carry out comprehensive nursing care under a responsible system, take the patient as the center, and provide patients with high-quality, safe, efficient and satisfactory nursing services.
Develop a new SBAR shift handover model to strengthen communication between doctors and nurses and patients, while improving nurses' comprehensive capabilities and promoting the development of patient safety.
