Geriatrics Ward II

The second ward of the Geriatrics Department of Hohhot No. 1 Hospital was formerly the cadre health ward. It was established in 1995 and has a history of 20 years.

In 2010, with the aging of service recipients and the increasing development of geriatric medicine, our department gradually developed into a comprehensive geriatric department serving elderly friends.

The Second Geriatric Ward is a comprehensive internal medicine department that has its own characteristics in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases in respiratory system diseases, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, digestive system diseases, and diabetes in the elderly.

Undergraduate medical staff have rich clinical experience and mature diagnosis and treatment techniques for common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases in various systems of the elderly.

At the same time, according to the characteristics of the elderly with "more diseases per person", the department has established "large comprehensive and small specialties" and strives to create a "both comprehensive and specialized" diagnosis and treatment system.

We have a high-quality medical service team, with 2 chief physicians, 1 deputy chief physician, and 3 attending physicians;

Several deputy chief nurses and chief nurses;

45 open beds;

There is 1 defibrillator, 7 ECG monitors, 1 multi-lead ECG machine, 3 24-hour ambulatory ECG machines, 5 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitors, 3 non-invasive ventilators, 1 infusion pump, 3 micropumps, and 1 blood gas analyzer.
