The Hematology Department of Hohhot First Hospital was officially established in 2018. It has independent wards (4 laminar flow rooms and 33 beds in general wards) with clinical disciplines, 8 doctors and 11 nursing technical echelons.
With the support of hospital leaders, it is equipped with an independent laboratory, and under the leadership of department director Bao Cuihua, it carries out bone marrow morphology, bone marrow immunohistochemistry, typing testing, and testing of T, B, and NK cell subpopulations.
Specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of various types of anemia, hemolysis, Henoch-Schonlein purpura, immune thrombocytopenic purpura, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, and various types of acute and chronic leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and other blood tumors.
He is unique in the diagnosis and treatment of blood and immune problems, severe blood diseases, blood tumors, and precise intervention and treatment of tumor immunity.
In terms of academic exchanges, it has established cooperative relationships with the Institute of Hematology of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the Hematology Department of Peking University Third Hospital. In 2020, it was officially awarded the membership unit of the "Chinese Hematology Specialty Alliance". It also has cooperative relationships with many hospitals such as Shaanxi, Shanxi, and the Affiliated Hospital of West China University of Medical Sciences.
A number of provincial scientific research projects, including the "Correlation between Th17/IL-17/Ccl20 and Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura", were funded by the Hohhot Science and Technology Fund.
