Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory

The Cardiac Electrophysiology Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Cancer Hospital was first built in the 1970s. At that time, it only had an ordinary single thermal pen-type electrocardiograph, which was affiliated to the Functional Department. With the expansion of the department's work scope, it was separated from the Functional Department in 2006 to adapt to the development of the hospital.

The cardiac electrophysiology room of our hospital is a routine examination department and an indispensable item for cardiac examination.

The staff of our department are composed of experienced doctors who have been specialized in medical work for many years and technicians who are engaged in electrocardiography.

Department staff have studied in the Electrocardiography Laboratory of Peking University People's Hospital and the Electrocardiography Laboratory of the First Affiliated People's Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University. In addition to mastering the general knowledge of electrocardiography, they can also closely integrate this subject with clinical knowledge in order to provide real, practical and credible diagnostic basis for clinical practice.

The electrocardiogram room of our hospital has two Beijing Futian FX-7402 twelve-channel automatic analysis electrocardiographs and one portable automatic analysis electrocardiograph. All the electrocardiographs used can simultaneously collect 12-lead electrocardiogram waveforms and automatically analyze various arrhythmias, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, conduction block, pre-excitation syndrome and other diseases. The data are accurate and the results are reliable.

It has three advanced dynamic electrocardiogram recorders and an advanced heart rate variability analysis system.

It can continuously record the subject's 24-hour activity and sleep ECG, and the twelve leads appear simultaneously. It can detect hard-to-find arrhythmias, myocardial ischemia, etc., and make qualitative and quantitative diagnoses. It can analyze the subject's ECG at any time during the recording time, play back on the holographic screen, comprehensively edit and classify, and print clearly and neatly. It is of obvious value to patients with various heart diseases such as episodic arrhythmia and insufficient blood supply.

Equipped with two MOBIL-GRAPH 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitors made in Germany, with good performance and accurate and reliable data.

As the hospital continues to develop, it will also plan to select advanced twelve-channel ECG analysis workstations, exercise tablet testers, remote ECG monitors, etc.

The examination items currently carried out by the cardiac electrophysiology laboratory include: routine electrocardiogram, dynamic electrocardiogram, dynamic blood pressure, exercise treadmill test, heart rate variability analysis, etc.
