Dermatology and Venereology

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Cancer Hospital has a history of more than 30 years. It has formed a fine tradition of "treating diseases and saving lives, and doing everything possible to serve patients", and has a good reputation among patients and colleagues.

The department has outpatient clinics, laboratories, treatment rooms, treatment rooms, phototherapy rooms and inpatient wards.

The Department of Dermatology and Venereology is at the leading level in the autonomous region in terms of diagnosis and treatment level, instruments and equipment.

In the course of decades of development, the department has forged ahead, continuously broadened the scope of diagnosis and treatment, and served a large number of patients.

Dermatology work mainly consists of three parts: phototherapy room, health room and dermatology surgery.

Phototherapy room

It has been nearly 30 years since the dermatology phototherapy room was opened in 1987. During this period, various phototherapy instruments and treatment methods have been continuously improved, standardized management and operations have been implemented, and a large number of applicable cases and clinical treatment experience have been accumulated.

The phototherapy room equipment includes: high-energy narrow-band red and blue light therapy system, Ella photodynamic therapy device, micron light therapy device, narrow-band medium-wave ultraviolet therapy device, and carbon dioxide laser therapy machine.

High-energy narrow-spectrum red light special treatment conditions: Herpes zoster, herpes simplex and other viral skin diseases, various pemphigus, dermatitis herpetiformis, etc., various dermatitis, eczema, drug eruptions and other itchy skin diseases;

Infectious skin diseases such as impetigo, folliculitis, and ulcers;

Fungal skin diseases such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manuum and pedis;

High-efficiency photodynamic therapy combined with photosensitizers can treat genital warts, acne, pityriasis rosea, etc.

Health room

The wellness room is a treatment room for auxiliary treatments for some common skin conditions.

The main treatment scope is sebaceous gland diseases, such as acne, rosacea, etc.;

Dermatitis and eczema diseases, such as seborrheic dermatitis, facial dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug allergies, etc.;

The dilation of capillaries sometimes causes hormone-dependent dermatitis due to long-term external use of corticosteroids.

Routine surgeries performed by the Department of Dermatology and Venereology include: resection of benign skin tumors (involving pigmented nevus, sebaceous cysts, fibroids, verrucous nevus, sebaceous nevus, etc.), resection of malignant skin tumors, etc.;

In addition, our department is also carrying out complex skin surgical medical projects such as autologous epidermal culture transplantation for vitiligo and comprehensive treatment of keloids.
