The Breast Disease Department of Xiyuan Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences was established on June 28, 2021. It is the first breast disease specialty of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is composed of more than 20 medical staff, including 2 chief physicians, 2 deputy chief physicians, and 1 postdoctoral fellow, including 8 surgeons. We have 1 doctor of medical oncology and 2 sonographers. We have ultrasound machines, breast ductoscopes, thermal tomographic infrared scanners, sentinel lymph node tracers, minimally invasive rotary incision machines, breast disease treatment machines and other related equipment to achieve a "one-stop" solution for diagnosis and treatment, and are skilled in the completion of needle biopsy, guidance Wire guidance, open or minimally invasive resection of nodules, breast conservation or modified radical resection of breast cancer, etc., give full play to the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and feature traditional Chinese medicine conservative treatment of non-lactation mastitis, covering acute inflammation, benign hyperplasia, nodules, malignant tumors, preoperative and postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy , TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of adverse reactions of targeted therapy, endocrine therapy, and immunotherapy, and carries out TCM non-drug therapies with distinctive features and precise curative effects, which can meet the full management needs of breast disease patients such as examination, treatment, and care, and have gained recognition from peers and trust from patients.
