Hepatology Department

The Department of Hepatology at the West China Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences was one of the first established departments in the institute, after generations of efforts, currently enjoying a good reputation in the field of Chinese medical liver disease, with its academic rigor, rigorous research, continuous progress, and factual approaches that follow the consistent principles of undergraduate studies, thus continuously establishing the characteristics of Chinese medicine as the main treatment for patients widely recognized and gaining better therapeutic efficacy. Every day, patients from all over the country are diagnosed.
