Rheumatology Department

The Department of Rheumatology at the West China Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences is one of the earliest established in the country, with a medical team consisting of several MDs, M.D.s, doctors strict, and a high-quality care team. The head of the rheumatology department, Dr. Xiang, who is a nationally renowned senior physician, doctoral, postdoctoral fellow, advisor to the National Committee on Rheumatic Diseases of the Chinese Medical Association, has been recognized nationwide in the field of rheumatic diseases and has played an important role in academic development in the field of Chinese rheumatic disease. Faculty director Zhou Long Yun, the chief physician who is the academic successor to Professor Xuanhua, has accumulated extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and suspected illnesses, achieved significant therapeutic efficacy, and achieved a wealth of scientific results.
